Living Room and Veranda
A massive room that is open to the delightful tradewinds includes a well-appointed, comfortable seating area and a formal dining table featuring a chandelier custom-made in St. Vincent. On the verandah, a large table will seat dinner for 10 with a fantastic night view of ships, the moon, and stars. One of the best seats in the house is the hanging chair on the veranda that overlooks the pool. The veranda offers a 300-degree view with 35 islands to look at and is the common gathering place for end-of-day libations and delightful dinners.
On the open-air patio, there is a cozy breakfast table for four and chaise lounges for enjoying the noon time rays. Our home features a spacious living-dining area perfect for social gatherings. Immerse yourself in the relaxed ambiance of our open-designed Caribbean-style residence, where the tropical wind surrounds you day after day, eliminating the need for air-conditioning. The inviting pool provides a perfect oasis for numerous refreshing dips throughout the day or a leisurely swim after a day at the beach. Guests can enjoy the tranquility of floating in the pool while indulging in a good book.
Kitchen
The completely equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, gas stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator with icemaker, bar sink, and island counter with stools. Small appliances: drip-style coffee maker, blender, KitchenAid mixer, toaster. The kitchen has ample dishes, flatware, glasses, and cookware. The adjacent pantry awaits to hold your treats for the week.
West Primary Bedroom
A charming space with dresser, large closet, ensuite bathroom with shower. A balcony overlooking the pool and an additional expansive verandah with a sitting area for evening cocktails or morning coffee with views to the west and distant views of Monkey Point and Jost Van Dyke. Large windows offer circulating tropical winds, ceiling fan and screen door. This bedroom has a mini fridge as well.
East Primary Bedroom
A comfortable large private retreat with dresser, closet, ensuite bathroom with shower with views of the sky, balcony with chaise lounge facing East with views of VIrgin Gorda.
The North Twin Bedroom
Known in our family as the Dick Van Dyke Room - features a large space with a dresser, closet, ensuite bathroom with shower, and balcony with chaise lounges facing the gardens and East views . Large windows offer circulating tropical winds, ceiling fan, and screen door. Guests are welcome to push the twin beds together to form a king-size bed if they choose.
South Bedroom
A quiet southern facing bedroom that is somewhat separate from the main living area. Nestled below the main verandah, this bedroom is well equipped with a large sliding glass door, large ceiling fan, king size bed and a powder room.
Gardens & Driveway
Our gardens are a labor of love. Our kitchen garden features bananas, plantain, mangoes, and papaya at different times of the year. You can also help yourself to basil, lemongrass, and other herbs. The driveway was built by hand, mixing cement and splitting stone.
